On Tuesday 26th June, the Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day was held at Jamison Park.
We were blessed with fabulous weather and a great day of sport with our school mates. The school wants to thank every student for the sportsmanship displayed on the day and the parents who came to encourage our students.
Lastly, a big thanks to our amazing coaches, Mr Watson, Mr DeGennaro & Mr Radat - thank you for your efforts, we couldn't have done it without you!
Our girls team won 2 games, lost 1 game and drew 4 games. Our boys Gold team won 4 games, lost 1 game and drew 2 games.
Our boys green team won 5 games, lost 1 game and drew 1 game.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls for your efforts!

What a fantastic day for our Stage 3 boys and girls teams! Our students showed great teamwork, perseverance and determination throughout the day, supporting one another, encouraging their teammates and giving every game their absolute best. It was wonderful to see them demonstrate such positive sportsmanship, resilience and a willingness to keep trying, no matter the challenge. We are so proud of the way they represented our school both on and off the field! 💛💚⚽️

Only a few more sleeps to go until our favourite day of the year! Bring your friends, your families and your neighbours too! Not only are we fortunate enough to celebrate Australia's only Saint, but as the Patron of our school, St Mary MacKillop's legacy lives on in our community and how we interact with one another in all we say and do. From 2:45pm our wonderful Parish Priests will be hosting a community blessing and we invite everyone to attend. Parent/Carers Workshop - St Mary MacKillop Friday 14th August 1:45pm-2:15pm As part of our Feast Day celebrations for our Patron Saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop we will be holding a parent workshop about Mary MacKillop in our school library on Friday 14th August from 1:45pm - 2:15pm (please arrive at 1:35pm). Everyone is warmly invited to attend this workshop which will conclude in time for our whole school assembly. RSVPs are appreciated for planning purposes.

1 week to go 🥳 We are so excited and so looking forward to celebrating the Feast Day of our Patron Saint, St Mary MacKillop of the Cross with our community NEXT SATURDAY! Kayla R represented St Mary Mackillop Primary at the Equestrian NSW State Interschools Championship during the July school holidays. Kayla was among the top 22 riders in NSW to qualify for the dressage competition and achieved an outstanding overall seventh place in the state. In her one event she finished 3rd out of the 22 and the other 10th position, which then gave her a 7th overall. This was a remarkable result at an elite level of competition, and we are incredibly proud of her.

To date, sadly only 4 volunteers from our whole school community have reached out to let the P&F know that they are available to help.
