Welcome to Mary MacKillop Primary, Penrith South
As a school we aim to ensure that each child is challenged to reach their full potential by exploring and developing their unique gifts and talents. We do this through evaluating current practices across all key learning areas for all children in their learning, and by providing students with a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
One of the centre values at Mary MacKillop is ‘Respect’. This expresses itself in the way we relate to each other and our whole school environment. We also endeavour to help the children ‘care for the earth’. We assist the children to become aware of and to examine their own personal responsibility, nurturing and living in harmony with the environment and each other.
The school motto is ‘Together We Grow’ and this motto is given life through the school’s vision to realise an alive and growth promoting community which reflects the values of the Gospel.
