Congratulations to Year 3 student Giuseppe who was named the ‘June All Star’ and future Socceroo at Southlands Shopping Centre.
Giuseppe was recognised for his passion for soccer which he plays soccer pretty much everywhere he can - school, club & representative games. A great role model he has encouraged many of his friends to play too!
Giuseppe is going to use his prize money to help with soccer travel expenses & has also chosen to donate some of his prize money to St Mary MacKillop.
Well done Giuseppe and we just know we will be seeing you in the green & gold one day!

Today Year 3 went on an excursion to the Australian Museum in the city. They began the day by meeting a Gemologist and finding out all about their work at the museum. Then they explored the Minerals room. They worked in groups to find all the gems on their cards and answer the questions. Year 3 then explored some of the other areas of the museum and even stopped for a photo with a dinosaur! What a fun last day of term!![980116777452655_1288545753276421-1]()

On Monday Year 6 made it just in time before the rain set in our sights to take part in running our house colour novelty relays. The whole school came to watch and cheer our Year 6 leaders on as they competed against each other. Congratulations to the Uluru house who won both the boys and girls relay races.

Well done to Ruby (Kindergarten) and Halo (Year 4) who both danced at the Winterfest competition last weekend. Ruby and team "wolf pac" placed first in tiny pom, first in jazz and first in hip hop. Halo and team "Flawless" came first and received the highest points out of hundreds of teams over the whole weekend! Congratulations to Ruby & Halo!!

REMINDER: any child selected to represent St Mary MacKillop at the Girls & Boys Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day on Tuesday, 24th June 2025. The day will be held at Jamison Park, Penrith. REMINDERS FOR THE DAY: Your child will need to be transported to the ground on the above date by you or another parent whom you have arranged to transport. Your child needs to be at the ground no later than 8:20 am on the above date. Your child can be dropped off after 7:50 am, please not before. Your child will need to be collected by you or your representative to be taken home at the end of the day. (approx. 2:30 pm) If your child requires any medication on the day this must be administed by a parent or carer. All students will need shin pads, soccer boots (if possible; otherwise, joggers are acceptable), and tall soccer socks in our school colours: green, yellow, white, or black. Donation Drive Mufti Day for Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Friday 27th June The Year 6 students, as part of their learning in Religious Education this term, are organising a Donation Drive for the JRS Foodbank.
