The Nepean Zone Athletics Carnival was held at Blacktown International Sportspark last Friday, 10th August.
A round of applause for our wonderful team of athletes, who wore our school colours with pride! A big thank you to Mrs Paine, who spent the day with the 40 students representing our school. The team performed exceptionally well and we are thrilled to share the following results:
Congratulations Jarred H, who broke the Nepean Zone Record in the 200m 11 Years Boys event! An amazing effort!

What a fantastic day at the Stage 3 Touch Football Gala Day! ๐ Our boys' and girls' teams should be incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. Throughout the day they played with determination, encouraged one another, worked brilliantly as a team and demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship on and off the field. Congratulations to Spencer in Year 6!!! During the holidays I got to see Spencer perform in a production of "Stories in the Dark", by Debra Oswald. I was totally amazed at how professional and talented their performance was. I would not have expected that a year 6 student could manage such a complex role and storyline so well. Well done Spencer and thank you for your performance.

This week, our school community celebrated NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC week is the first week of the holidays. โFifty Years of Deadlyโ (NAIDOC 2026 theme) marks a milestone. Itโs a tribute to the people who built this movement: the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression and the communities who keep showing up, year after year. To celebrate, grades read books, completed artworks, and other activities to learn more about this special celebration. Mr Buchan even organised a special event where we were able to have a Virtual Author Talk with Corey Tutt, who read two of his books with us and shared about his journey as an author.

This morning, Year 5 celebrated a beautiful Mass with Fr Joe. Reflecting on the theme, โWe are the Church, the people of God,โ the celebration highlighted our call to share the Good News through faith, kindness and service.
