TreeDay

Today is National Tree Day. As such our Year 6 environment leaders along with their kindergarten buddies have been planting some ground cover in our front garden.

These plants were provided by Toni McHenry on behalf of Toyota.

In Science, Year 6 has been learning all about tectonic plate boundaries and the way they move that causes natural disasters to occur. The students have started constructing their models of Volcanoes, Tsunamis and Earthquakes in their groups and will showcase how the tectonic plates move before and during their natural disaster. We can't wait to finish building them tomorrow

This morning we had the long awaited opportunity to finally open our new school gate and pathway. Thank you to our Year 4 students and Year 6 school captains for officially opening this great new feature of our school facilities. It will now be much easier for everyone in our community to access our school from the street.
